It seems like last week went so fast for me, but Bri says it went slow. I guess it depends on your homework load. Either way, the weekend always comes with a warm welcome. Friday night we went ice-skating, and surpisingly, weren't run over by any of the Canadians. That's a blessing. I would like to say that we were like graceful figure skaters, but 'graceful' is not a word used to describe us very often. I believe 'hockey players' was the term used by a few. How flattering. At the end of the night, I had fallen down once, Bri none, but poor Charity hurt her arm. :( So if she doesn't update her blog, it's probably because she can't type extremely well in a sling. I think that was the only injury, and no one shattered any plexiglass, either!
I did a ton of laudry Saturday, while Bri was on bus visitation. I probably didn't do enough homework, but I think I am slightly caught up now! Just a History test tomorrow. Yikes! Yeah, I should be studying for that right now, but here I am.
So, I'll finish this since Al had to take care of something. Saturday evening we went to a birthday party for a friend of ours, Cathy Henschen at P.F. Chang's (a Chinese Bistro restaurant). If you like Chinese, that would be the place to go. I'm not crazy about Chinese, but I ate quite alot, actually. It was a great party and we had lots of fun being around Qualls & co. I guess I should explain who these people are. Cathy, and Mary and Sarah Qualls live together near the school and they teach in the Academy. I work on their bus route and I got to know Sarah when she worked at the college last year. Anyway, Some of Cathy's cousins and their families were there, so the kids kept things entertaining. So did Mary and Hannah :) The icing on the cake made Hannah's teeth blue.
Sunday was great. Pastor preached in the morning about the church and an old friend of his, Scotty Drake preached at night (as well as in chapel on Mon.) He was really good. After church in the evening, we took Mia (roomie) out to Zaxby's (chicken place) for her birthday. Our room was really hyper that night, so we didn't get to sleep very fast.
Well, back to work.
Hope you are all doing well.
Our roomate, Mia and her boyfriend, Andy.
Cathy, the birthday girl and Sarah.

Girl with the sling on her arm, Crip, Lefty, LOSER...guess that's what people are calling me now...
Charity, you are not a loser! You look adorable in a sling.
I also happen to find 'Lefty' a very endearing nickname.
Great blog!
The pictures are good- I didn't know you were going to put the Mafia on your blog!

We like your blog. The pictures were neat. I've never ice skated before! (And I've never done it after, either) Har Har.
