Zooom.....

And the weekend's gone already! Don't you just hate that? Hey, Mom and Dad came down for a super quick visit Friday! That was great. At first, I only knew that Mom was coming to bring us some stuff, but she loved surprising us, so Dad came too. Which was rather strange, because I was standing in the bookstore talking to Mom, Bri and Teresa Clark, and a big hairy arm reached around my neck! Then I figured out who's big hairy arm it was, and got a big hug! So that was a good surprise (I knew TC was up to something, though). We went out to Steak n' Shake and had a really good afternoon.
Then we got Gershwin & Copland! Friday night, we went with T.Clark and most of the music dept. posse to the Knoxville Symphony. They had some pretty good stuff the first half, but my favorite was definitely the second half, when they played Copeland and Gershwin. It was the first time that I have gone, and I really enjoyed it. I had to keep Bri from humming along, but other than that, it was quite relaxing. We'll definitely try to go again this year.
The rest of the weekend was most exciting...homework, homework, and more homework Yay, the excitement. But, I do feel pretty caught up, so that is always good.
I almost forgot, I've got a big praise report. I know I put in a past post about our supervisor, Mrs. Swope being in a car wreck. She is doing a lot better, and is hoping to get back to class soon. She was in a few days ago in a wheelchair, and is walking with a walker some. Please continue to pray for her healing.
I guess I'll get going, Music Theory is calling.

Gee Lain, thanks for the unflattering photo! You deserved to be punished! No cookies for a month!

I'm glad you had such a good weekend! I can't say the music thing sounded all that great, but well i'm sure you've noticed me and my understanding of music by now!
