A Wonderful Weekend

We had such a good, relaxing weekend. Saturday afternoon, we went to visit our work supervisor, Joyce Swope in the hospital. She had a bad wreck Wednesday night, and broke some bones. Please be praying for her as she is in a lot of pain and cannot move around very much. She is such a great lady and I know she just wants to get back to class as soon as she can.
When we got back from visiting Mrs. Swope, we went to Teresa Clark's house. For those who don't know Miss Clark, she works in the music dept.,with the choir and is my teacher for Vocal Techniques. She recruited some of us girls to come help here work in her yard and plant some flowers with the promise of dinner. So, naturally, we jumped at the chance! It was absolutely perfect weather, and we had a good time being outside, and in the dirt for a while. After we tamed her yard, we got to watch a movie! We watched "An Affair to Remember" with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, while Miss Clark made delicious stuffed Manicotti. For desert we had Tiramisu which was sooo good. mmmmm Anyway, I should talk about something besides food, shouldn't I? Well, we had a great time, and I can't wait till spring and we get to go see all of the flowers blooming!
I'm sorry, I don't have any pics to post this time. I'll get my camera out this week, whether people like it, or not! We're hoping to go ice-skating Friday night, so that should be fun.
Love you guys lots, have a great week!

Hello girls! Is that how it works.....give out jobs and feed you dinner as pay?? I can do that!! So, who wants to come paint my boys room? Or, I would love to have some flowers planted! Wow, I mean, I can find all kinds of things that need to be done!! *smile* You would not only get dinner, but also entertainment from our 6 kids!! Yay!!! :+)
