On the Road Again

Hey folks, this summer we are traveling in a ladies trio for Crown College. We will be singing, testifying, and helping churches and pastors in any way possible. Our group is going to the Northwest region of the United States and we are also spending most of June in the Vancouver area of Canada. We will continue to post on this blog, but you may also want to check out the official Crown College blog http://northwesttrio.blogspot.com/. Thanks for checking in, and be sure to keep up with us on the blog!

It's been an interesting year so far. We started off with a great "Faithful Men's Revival" at school. Dr. William McCrea, a pastor in Northern Ireland and member of British Parliament, was the main speaker. The hand of the Lord is definitely upon this man and our hearts were challenged by the Word that was preached.
Since then classes have gotten off to a little bit of a slow start, with some unexpected setbacks. We had a little problem at the college campus with a frozen pipe that busted and caused some damage. A week after that we had a suprise blizzard (in Tennessee, if you can't see the grass it's a blizzard)! The snow was so much fun and we were excited that it stayed around for a while. We've enjoyed the breaks, but I can't believe we're having midterms next week! As always, we're busy with schoolwork, but enjoying the semester. Spring break is coming soon!

A New Year

It's been a wonderful Christmas break, starting off with the choir trip to New York City. We got to see so many wonderful and historic things around New York and enjoyed visiting the great city. It's a magnificent place, but it is sad to see so many without the hope of Christ. The masses can be overwhelming and the Pastors and churches in the New York City area are in much need of prayer. We had the opportunity to sing at Wall Street, Rockefeller Center and Grand Central Station, in churches in Brooklyn and New Jersey and pass out hundreds of Gospel tracks all over the city.
After our journeys, we returned home for a couple weeks. The holidays were wonderful and it was great to be with family. The Lord has blessed us with an amazing family that loves the Lord and it's always fun for us to be together. We had plenty of time to rest, eat (of course), and see friends and family.
